A separate function hall with its own bar and live-music capability. It can hold a licensed ceremony, dining and a much larger evening gathering, with room dressing and layouts agreed around your plans.

The smaller licensed room

A warm smaller licensed space within the main pub building.
It is licensed for ceremonies of up to 35 and can host private functions of up to 50, depending on layout. The pub’s lived-in character makes a natural backdrop for an unhurried meal and time with close family and friends.

Space for air, photographs and conversation
The riverside lawn changes the pace of the day. In suitable weather and ground conditions it gives guests somewhere to gather, children room to move and photographers a setting that feels unmistakably Lower Lode.
Legal ceremonies are held in the venue’s licensed indoor spaces. Outdoor use, furniture and weather alternatives should be agreed for your particular date.
Access and practical comfort
The main pub area is described as wheelchair friendly and one guest room as wheelchair accessible. Ask the team about your full route and individual requirements.
On-site parking is available. River conditions can occasionally affect the local approach, so the venue publishes an editable notice and asks guests to call ahead if conditions are unusual.
A viewing is the best time to walk the complete route you and your guests would use—from arrival and parking through ceremony, toilets, dining, evening space and accommodation.
