Our approach

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. It supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, reflow at small widths and high zoom, text alternatives for meaningful images, clear headings, labelled forms and reduced-motion preferences.

Interactive navigation, FAQ filtering, the gallery viewer and enquiry validation are designed to remain understandable with a keyboard and assistive technology. Core content and the server-side form submission do not depend on JavaScript.

How accessible this website is

The site has been tested with automated accessibility tools, keyboard-only navigation, zoom and multiple browser engines. Automated testing cannot identify every barrier, so feedback remains important.

Known limitations

The downloadable wedding guide is designed as an accessible tagged reading order where the generation tools allow, but the web pages remain the recommended format for responsive reflow and assistive-technology use.
Some historic venue photographs have modest resolution. Alternative text communicates their relevant content.
External websites, map services and social platforms are outside our control.

Physical venue access

This statement covers the website. The main pub area is described as wheelchair friendly and one guest room as wheelchair accessible, but individual routes and needs vary. Contact the venue before visiting so the team can discuss parking, surfaces, thresholds, toilets, rooms and the spaces you intend to use.
